Here are some pics of a couple of figures I want to put in the RMMC show in 2 weeks. Would appreciate some advise on touch ups especially with the Landschneckt's beard. The base colour is almost burnt sienna and although it looks o.k. it needs highlights and shadows. Sorry for the quality of the pics and a big thanks to David Mitchell for his blessing on my using basically the same colours as he did.

I guess there is too much light coming in from the window. I am trying very hard to assess the extent of painted higlight and shading effects in these pictures.

Will these help michael? I moved to a different room. Some light still comes from the right side though..

Good to see these finished Gary, my only advice would be to tone down the beard.Try repainting the beard area in a much lighter tone and then put a slightly darker wash over it.

Thanks David for the advise. I'll do my best. Would you suggest adding white to my burnt sienna to get the lighter tone?
