    Hi all!

Ken ( Mil-mart ) Farrar very kindly passed me one of the first production castings of his Churchill bust. I saw it just after he had sculpted it and liked it on first sight .... :)

The flesh tones are about 1/3 of the way there... :)

Mark, an excellent start, you've certainly brought him to life. Maybe it's because I sculpted him from a famous black & white photo I couldn't really imagine what he'd look like in colour, Brilliant mate. (y)

    Cheers Ken

Hi Mark, lovely start to a great bust and quite apt as I believe Mr. Churchill was inspecting the defences at Hartlepool when the photo Ken based the bust on was taken, (some wit told me that is why he was armed, because he was in Hartlepool). Please keep us posted.
    Regards
    Dennis

    Hey Dennis,
As resident Monkey Hanger, and you lads from the North will know - Churchill can't have been in Hartlepool that long otherwise he would have 2 hand grenades clipped to his top pocket as well and not the handkerchief. Ha Ha. He must of thought I would rather fight the Germans.
    Mark,
Can't wait to see this finished. Pinstripe suit?!!!! That must have the cogs turning.
    cheers
    Richie
