This is the second horse , which is actually the third in the trio but painted second.
Still a bit of detailing to do ; hooves etc and leopard skin trim spots also a bit of lining on the shabraque.

Yes very nice Ron two nailed one to go love the shading on the legs and underbelly.

Looks great ........ so let me get this ........ this is the second horse but it's actually the third horse .... but you've stripped the first horse ..... so this becomes the first horse and the first horse becomes the second or third horse ..... if it becomes the second horse then the second horse becomes the third horse but it's still the first horse and the second horse is the third horse ....... god help the third horse when it finds out it's the second horse

It was the second horse because the first horse wasn't stripped when it was finished but the first horse was to be the second originally and is now the last if that makes sense

Reading your post then Del's response, then yours, and then Del's, and then yours again, and then Del's again, started to give me a headache. Anyway, so far that horse looks pretty darn good !

So we are not totally confused we have sorted out the order of the runners. Can you tell us the order of the riders in this local Derby.

1st Jockey is on the second horse and the second jockey is on the first While the third is on the third horse which is already painted second which is now the first as I stripped the first as I was not happy with the shabraque.
Its sort of " Don't move till he moves but if he moves you move first "

Excellent work on your second horse Ron, i saw this now and i think i follow your horses with Del's thoughts
but with any order the result is great and the progress will be fantastic..
I like the way you handle every minor detail, fantastic brushwork all around!
