    Hello!
Could I model the figure bellow (an Anglo-Saxon Huscarle) as a XI century Viking?
    I hope your help!

Very interesting links, .. Very Good reading,. the first link is solely to do with the 'Norman Kite' shield. which to my mind was, very recognisable, for what it was, and who carried it.

The second, link. Is much more about the traditional, Viking Shield, ... Looking at the two, the Round shield is much more fitting to a ''Viking', Call It a visual recognition! but what would set it up is the very distinct designs that where used.

The bottom line being, is probably both could be used. ... But my pref would be the round shield.

    Regards,

    Mark
