Since the first day I saw this figure painted by the masterhands of Ray Ferrugia i promised myself to paint this figure to.
Unfortunally it is very hard to find and buy this figure.
A member of Planetfigure gave me the opportunity the buy this figure, it was in the original box and only opend for inspection.
After downloading the pictures from Ray i got up to cleaning the figure and started paint.
Never, I say never i had a figure in my hands that fits so easy, and paint so smooth.......
It is a shame that PM is no longer on the market.
So, I had not the intention to copie the figure of Ray, but the colors he used where so great, that i start with them (only in oils) and the closer i got to the finish I had created my own colors.
Let me here what you guys think.

the quality of metal used and the crispness of casting was unique

Marc I know the job Ray has done with this figure and yes his colours are exceptional but I do believe you have done a wonderful job on this, so please dont put all the praise you deserve onto Rays original painting. Very very good job mate.

Very clean paintwork. I love the metals, face, boots, arrows, and the rock from the ground,but I´m not sure I like the yellow. It´s too clear for my taste, but is your choice of color, and I must respect it.
