This mini was initially converted by Roberto Chaudon to looks like the Original Magmatrax miniature done by Vincent Hudon (Boltman) so many years ago.

My intention while painting was to keep the original esence and do a tribute as close as possible to original but with some touches of my own stile. Please keep in mind that when Magmatrax was painted it was a new concept far advanced from that moment concepts. So, even if technics allow us to paint the same now faster, do it better is very hard and even possible, I'm not sure if effort could deserve as improve will be minimum.

So I said initialy converted by Roberto Chaudon as before painting I had to repair the rider as an accident almost destroyed all the work done. Even with that, gidelines done by the Sculptor made my job much easier.

While painting, customer asked me to add some changes to the original one, like freehand or benner in flames. I think those changes sounds great to keep some distance from the original as I do not like to just copy other's work, but it still have the Magmatrax esence.

Hope you think that is a good enought tribute to one of the best minis ever done.
