    Don't know if its the pics, but maybe the stubble needs just a bit more blending on the demarcation line between stubble and cheek? As I said it may be the shadow overcast that is showing a rather sharp edge on the stubble :eek:

    Shading on the hat is coming along nicely too, although I'd suggest a very thin application of umber to tone down the blueness a smidge.

    trying to get a good pic of it ... the coat is actually darker than the pic shows
