    Hello again
Among about 10 heads I've made lately, I want to show You this one. It's made from miliput standard, and now primered in black. It depicts, as You can guest the devil-Lucifer. I made it basing on the popular medieval image, that everybody knows, of a horned beastman, lord of hell, and whatever... And so the skin tone will be red.
Well for now he looks like this. Now I have to start sculping the body, but before that I have to think of an interesting pose. Firstly he was supposed to be standing and looking around, but after I've changed the look of his face (now it's agressive but at the beginning it was rather a wise man look) I decided do make a more dynamic pose (but still I'm looking for the exact one, maybe one of You guys have any ideas??).
It will be of course a 75mm figure. He will be wearing a roman legions based/looking armor with a large pentagram on the front (if thin it will be the best option).

Looks great so far. I like the idea of a Roman looking Lucifer. I look forward to seeing your progress.

Another part of the story of Luc ;) The base is real magma from the Etna Volcano (once I was there and picked up some parts of this stuff :) )

Wow! I like it! That is a great, great face! I can kind of see him wielding a huge nasty looking broadsword. I agree with Evan - Roman or similar kind of armor will look great on him! Maybe something more exotic - Etruscan/Egyptian/Phoenician? Something that mixes several cultures? No helmet - for heck's sake don't cover that face! I look forward to you finish this.

    all the best,
    Dan

Well thank You very much Dan for Your pleasent words! I must tell You that I was never planning to give my Luc any kind of helmet. The head will be as it is. That's a great idea aobut mixing many kind of armour in one! I will considere it! I have some Osprey Publishing books and I will choose something from there.
Lucifer will be armed with a Trident (i think it's the right name for this weapon).
I've encountered many drawings showing the devil wielding a scythe but I don't have he slitest idea why. Scythe is the atriubte of Grim Reaper, not the devil. But oh well.
And now for the base- i'm planning to make a lake of fire from liquid epoxy resin with red and yellow pigments added.
But unluckily now I have some exams on my university and so the sculpting progress is very slow:(

Those of us out in the nice wide world of work, work, work don't have any time to sculpt or paint either. Enjoy your university time and don't be in too much of a hurry to get on to the next thing.

The lake of fire sounds a bit daunting but do-able with maybe the Andrea clear (water) resin with colors added. Or even clear polyurethane paint with colors added.

I look forward to your next post with photos.

    all the best,
    Dan

    Hello all
Besides working on robin's companions I've starded working on this one too. An old unfinnished figure. And he's even taller than I thought - 90mm :).
