WIP Kiwi 30cal Gunner,Italy

    Greetings,
    This is a start on painting the 1/12 scale NZ,er 30cal gunner in Italy.The paint used is gouache and really like its texture,its a bit like acrylic but dries quicker .

    Super start mate, yes a happy chappy f'sure.

    Like the smoothness of your blending here, seem to be getting the hang of this painting thing as well as sculpting mate!

    Hello All,
    Some more progress,both arms and helmet added .The netting is a form of gauze soaked in a white glue and water mix then drapped over the helmet.With enough length or overhang of gauze over the helmet it is then given a twist to form the drap or tension over the helmet.Once dry the excess material can be cut away and then painted.

    Hello All,
    The 30cal has been assembled with a basic coat of black acrylic with some gouache washes.Barrel looks a little crook in one photo,will glue in later,comments welcome.
