    Hello Friends,

here are some pics of a work I started some time ago.

It is a szenery of the Woodlands and the figurers are 40mm.

I like this scale very much and I will do some more in the next time.

    I hope you like it.

Great work and much harder than it appears to sculpt in 1/48th without getting certain proportions wrong. But I agree its a great scale to work in.

Wow, that is a great scene indeed, if you hadn't stated that it was 40mm, I would have thought it to be bigger. Awesome amount of detail. Love it!!!

Congrats on a beautifully sculpted scene. James Fenimore Cooper would be
smiling up there in Valhalla, right now.

    Hi Colin,

the vignette is in 1/45 - so it is a little bit bigger that the 1/48 figures. But I also have dome smaller figures and I think every sclae has its own advantage. The 40mm figures are very comfortable to sculpt for me - and it is an excellent sclae to build up bigger vignettes - also a great love of myself...

    Lots of thanks Robert !

As I said, I think the scale is a very comfortable size to sculpt - also as 75mm or taller...
