Just picked up a whopping great book of the collected colour plates of Charles Hamilton Smith for a fiver. There ain't no button counter gonna beat me on the colour of the facings of the Perth militia regiments anymore! Muhahahahaha!
Seriously, this book is huge. I need a bigger desk.

It's a well known fact among Napoleonic experts Hamilton-Smith made it all up.

In my experience Billy, so do most of the "experts"

Pah all British Standard references, not comprehensive at all in my view.

For example, no reference at all to the well known continental Westphalian reserve spoonists, nor Danish mobile bath and shower detachments.
Nice try, but you'd obviously better give me a call before you paint anything at all.

I see why you only paid a fiver, this particular book has had the pictures placed in upside-down and sideways, oh well, you may still be able to use it.

It's simple Chris, I just hold each page up in front of a very strong light then read the page that's facing away from me. Easy!
