Probably a dumb question....with probably a simple answer....how do you highlight a part of a response and pick out the part of the question or statement that I would like to respond too.....sorry for being such a dumb ass when it comes to this.......almost embarrassed to ask.........

Hit the quote selection on bottom right of target post. If you don't want the whole thing, use your cursor to highlight the portion to delete. Make sure you don't delete the square brackets or quote info before and after the quote.

Not a dumb question at all-I've never been able to work it out. Ok got this far Colin, how do I get colour on it?

OK-the colour is automatic and the quote marks have disappeared-just learnt something-the hard part will be remembering how....I'm sure I'll cope;)

Should colour itself when posted. If it doesn't, God knows. :) I guess you will have to live in a B&W world.

To get colour, click on the downward arrow next to the A symbol in the tool bar. A selection of coloured squares appears. Mark the part of the text that you want to colourizse, left-click on the colour of your choice and job's a good 'un.

Some colours are a bit faint though, so they might need putting into bold as well.
