Historex Imperial band

    starting a big project. (like I need amother) of these Historex Imperial band members. I'm starting with these old ones I picked up at a show for the ones in the background. Then I have anew set for the ones in the front.

    Goodness that's a lot of Napoleonic lace ! ...what a great project .....lot of work but will be impressive to say the least

    Me too. I still love the nostalgia of the old Historex stuff. I guess I am still trying to perfect my skills to match the stuff I saw as a young modeler.

    Did a little glove work last night. Also forgot to mention. I added gloves to one of the band members with a broken hand. I used foil to make a pattern for the gloves. I think it came out pretty nice.

    That is a great project. I love seeing the versatility offered by Historex even though it first emerged over 50 years ago.

    I am a dedicated Historex aficionado so I love this and I admire your courage for tackling such a complex vignette (it is not just the painting,this beauty requires assembly too,and what an assembly indeed!!!).Will follow with interest.
