    Gerard, Ron, thank you.
Yes Ron, I've finally made the leap from acrylic to oil and am left wondering why I didn't do it sooner.

A great finish Roger, does it mean you'll be sticking with oils then.

Cheers Ken, I'll need to finish off the Leuthen set in acrylics just to keep up the general appearance but I think I'm an oil convert.

Good work using oils, nice portrait. I like the colors, your pussian blue, the crimson tone of lapels and cuffs, and I specially like how you´ve painted the silver laces and sash.
    It´s very fine I think.
I miss the bigger photos you uploaded in past posts.

    Eduardo, Martin, John & David,
    thank you very much.
I actually reduced the image size so it was more of an accurate representation of the actual figure, I'll have a re-think. ;)

Thank you very much Keith, it's not too shabby for a beginner. It's a shame I have to go back to work tomorrow.

Look on the bright side Roger you may get a chance to get the pastels out again.............
You could even do a Turner and tie yourself to the mast and paint 'A Storm at Sea'. What fun(n)
    Cheers,
    Keith
