I understand that Gordon has put the master into mould and that castings may be available in the near future.

I hadn't realised you had been that quick off the mark! You have done a first class job of that. It shows up the details (and small imperfections!) beautifully. The chin strap has come up very well. I'm not sure whether or not I prefer bearskin or service cap, although I will have to make the peak more vertical to be authentic. The little knob at the end of the pace stick should face up. I hope you manage to do the matching base with the tarmac surface (it should be red/maroon for the Mall) as well!

I remodelled the service cap with the five strands of gold braid on a vertical peak. The figure with the bearskin seems most popular at present. I thought I could use this cap on GSM Mott in service dress:

    Mike ,

That service caps looks great , be good to see a version of him in his No 2 dress uniform with the Sam Browne belt as well I think.

Is the new cap going to be available ?

    Thanks for sharing

The photo I posted is a casting and is therefore available from Gordon.

A good parade. I had to laugh at the commentary when the ex Taff made the comment about being able to say "yes" an "no" !:D

Yes A good parade but if there are any more cuts the queen will have to troop her own colour.I,m old enough to remember when the square was full

The London Regiment (T.A.) has now been made part of the Household Division. Last week they were mounting guard at the tower! I wonder how long it will be until they're used to make up numbers! This government seems to think you can do everything else with part timers!

What you mean like the parade to commemorate Waterloo, with a Finnish army band!?
