Can anyone help with some historical detail on this figure?
    1) Would the canteen have had some markings? I've seen one picture with the letters BO with an arrow between them pointing upwards
    2) Should the collar of the jacket be Red or Black I have seen it painted both colours and suspect thet Black is correct although I have it red with gold facings?

Any other comments would be welcome sorry about the poor pictures but they are about the best I can get from my camera (my fault..not the camera)

    Hi Carl,

Thanks for that, at least I know what the BO stands for now!

I love painting figures but when it comes to matters military I know nothing!
