    Looks well Paul I don't think anyone knows why it's called a frog for sure, I've heard various explanations all of which could be true, the riot gun strap could be a number of colours depending on what it is. I've seen leather ones, converted rifle slings and some home made lash ups, not sure if there was an "official" strap even.

    I only saw slr, smg, and 1/2 slr slings used Paul, sorry I didn't see that question earlier.
    Colours, boot polished black, very faded olive drab with spots and threads of white canvas peeping out,
    or dark olive green.

    baton gun slings at least with us were old sten/smg slings, webbing colour. all baton gunners were little ginger ba5tards.

    Hi Paul,

    Just some constructive criticism about the level of contrast on the front of the vest jacket. To my eyes the highlights look quite extreme and unnatural. I'd prefer to see you tone down the highlights by approximately 20%. If you do this, I think you'll find the level of contrast will look more natural. If you're happy with the level of contrast as it is, then that's fine. Perhaps the photos make it look more extreme than it actually is.
