Germanic Warrior from H & V

    Hi Guys

    Finished this from H & V really enjoyed working in a limited pallette with all the browns nad textures .
    Added a torque around his neck apart from that all is as in box .

    Acrylics and Water soluable Oils

    Ralph ..I agree it coukd be thought of as a plain bust but it certainly gave me as much enjoyment as any colourful Napoleonic subject ..get yourself one and give it a go!

    Joe ...appreciate you have noted that about the hide wanted a worn look , the outer texture of the fur is full of detail .

    Cheers Roger that's it in a nutshell it's the simplicity of the subject that's so good ..ths was hovering around for a while but just flowed .

    It just goes to show it doesn't need gold braid and dare I say it, medals. :D
    I'm sure the painter is a terribly nice chap, it looks like he knows one and of a paintbrush from the other. (y)
