    An interesting and unusual subject where the research was as much fun as the painting.

    Nicely done Roger. You have a wonderful sheen on the leather of the boots and the stock of the gun!

    The sheen on those areas was done with Games Workshop Brown & Chestnut wash. A very easy way to achieve that effect.

    I would like to paint a Trappist monk holding a glass of Chimay up to the light, how is that for an idea?
