others chasse-mouche one of the real challenge of this figure.

broken saddle has been remade in ....copper... a way to don't damage it
    [IMG] [IMG]

considering the difficulties I spent less time to use the copper instead of the putty

This is looking better each time you post some pictures. A fascinating blend of materials as usual. An inspiration to me, and to many others I'm sure.

    Cheers

Great pose and well made piece.
I particularly admire your chasse-mouches, the movement of which is impressively rendered.

    Hi Colin

Chicago isn't in list for this year. For sure I planned for 2015!

This year I'll be in Long Island mid November where I'll bring this figure ( and others)

I'm chatting about a conference there

    Will you come in LI?

This is one figure I'd love to see commercially produced, for those of us with limited sculpting skills. Beautiful work Ivo, looking forward to seeing the finished model.
One of my favourite E. Detaille pictures, and you have captured it totally:joyful:

I've to confess that I'm on a phase where I'm not completely happy with the figure. There are things that I don't completely like...

I'm working on a different project to refresh my eyes

I was just in NYC last week, Chicago in two weeks... I think if I went to LI in November, my boss would think that he pays me too much.
I'll for sure be at Valley Forge in the spring.
