    I'm not happy with the ground work or base.:( I need to add something. I just haven't decided what!

    It's time to move off to something else.

    Comment's welcome.

    (Ok, Changes have been made. I have added Grass and taken pictures with a dark background) Hope this looks better.)

    I agree with Carl that some static grass or some little tufts might do the trick.

    It's turned out very nice Mike, I'm glad you chose the light blue zouave uniform. I'd go with the advice given above and perhaps try photographing the fig. with a bit less of a harsh light.
