Okay so the side view might be better, it's been stripped twice already but I have a plan.

Thanks Martin, I'm beginning to think all these white uniforms was not the best idea I've ever had.

The plan was to mix my own violet but to make sure I had a consistent colour right the way through the whole set I decided to simplify things by basing it on something direct from from the tube so...

    Base-Dioxazine Purple
Shade- Base + Phthalo Green (blue shade)
    Light- Base + White.

    Roger, great start.
i am sure you will do great on the white, the violet or purple is not an easy color to work with,i remember when i painted the Gatenois regiment,i really struggleled but the violet/purple but at the end it was fine.
I like the contrast of the white uniform and facing color.
    I follow!

Thanks Daniel, I can see what I need to do but having the patience to wait for it to dry before adding the next highlight is the frustrating part.

    Hello Roger,

Bet you can't do that teaser shot on the Flat figure forum and still remain a member...:)
But what a creative storage idea - imagine all the flats stored and displayed in this manner.
