[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]It's back to work tomorrow so no time to lose, this is another 30mm Thirty Years War Pikeman from Wolfgang Bock, painted with acrylics. There's still some work to do but todays painting session should see it completed.

Hi Roger,I presume the arrow shows the direction of the light source which aids your painting?? If so, that's a clever idea. The highlighting on the metals is very good.

    Have a safe journey mate.

I'll add to Tony's wishes, have a safe one,

    Great work Roger.
I had the same idea about the arrow as Tony.

    Thank you all.

Yes, the arrow is just a little reminder of the light source. I can't take the credit for it, I saw someone else do it and thought it was a good idea.

Great start, Roger, and that is a great tip about the light source! My hat is off to you, I have a lot of 30mm Seven Years War flats, but I find Braille scale more daunting as time goes by, even with an Optivisor :D Is this a single piece, or are you working on a series of Landsknechte?

    Prost!

Thanks Brad, I can't take the credit for the little arrow it was someone elses very clever idea.
I have quite a few 30mm Thirty Years War figures lined up for painting, including several personality figures, inc. Gustavus Adolphus, Wallenstein, Pappenheim
