The motto Nec Aspera Terrent got the better.... again.
So for the **th time I painted it out and had another go.

This time I used a brand new 12/0 brush, acrylic paint with a drop of retarder and off I went....again.

I think it's fair to say that the problems I had with the motto do not detract from what is a very well sculpted and cast bust, one which I would recommend to anyone.

Turned out fabulous Roger, your diligence paid off (y)!

Hey guess what! It rained here the past two evenings! It was brief but intense and as we say here in west Texas: "like a cow pissing on a flat rock!":wideyed:

Not looking forward to Saturday though, temps expected to hit 101 degrees F!:yuck:

That cow must have a full bladder 'cause it stopped long enough for me to take the dog for a walk this afternoon and now it pissing again.
Temperatures that high would cause a national emergency here. :dead:
