First release from a New manufacturer Emmart Productions `THE RAT CATCHER`

Sculpted By Peter Morton the bust in 1:9th in scale and cast in seven white resin parts. The final production kits will be cast in light grey resin.

All parts are nicely cast with great detail and only a minimal seam line and mould block to remove. Both the dog and the rat are cast as one piece. The main torso shows good detail and there is a seam line that runs down the back that will need a quick clean up.

Pete has sculpted some great character and detail into the face of this piece with lots of creases and wrinkles for the painter to tackle. Three views of the head can be seen in the photos below for your close inspection. A dry fitting of the head to the bust torso shows a snug fit.

Arms shown in the photos below show great detail in the hands and fingers, again only minimal clean-up required.

Conclusion:

A very nice and very different release from this newly established company. The casting of the kit parts is very good and dry run of some parts show good fitting. No signs of air bubbles or defects in my review kit. Nice work again from Pete Morton.

I wish Emmart Production all the best success with the launch of the first of many figures and busts. I for one will be painting this for sure.
