    Hi all!

I'm painting this Mike Good sculpt just for fun ( Thanks Carl! )

I had a problem with my undercoat ( dry and rough ) but I scrubbed most of that off with a stippling brush I keep for just such situations. It's still a slightly rough finish but it only really shows in the extreme close up.

This is the progress from half a days painting ( I also painted a 120mm head with the same colours )

Feel free to input ( or not ) as you see fit :)

    Mark,

Hey, there's a moldy oldie!

Please do not make the same mistake I have seen done by many others: the overall he is wearing is NOT leather! It is a captured French or American overall - probably brown in color.

Inspirational painting , for me you are one of the best painters on this site, every piece is so well done. The eyes always tell a story and the facial tones are spot on.

Another knock out, on the way........(y)

    Eduardo .... Many thanks :)

Some work on details .... not sure how likely a colourful map would be but I like the tiny splash of detail and colour on the brown of the overall...

    The hat!!

I'm a assuming a black band but what colour for the piping?

    :)
