Hi Guys,I have just recently finished painting the box art for David Ridley's new 1/6 scale bust of a Chindit 1942-45.I really enjoyed painting this bust and I think Dave has done a great job of the sculpting . I was thrilled when Dave asked me if I would be interested in painting the bust for the box art.I think Dave has captured the Chindit soldier so well. You can purchase the bust through Dave at fhopemin@hotmail.com
I look forward to your comments.
    Kind regards to all.John:)

John, Excellent paint job! You really did the bust justice. Super job!!! I have to say that David's sculpting is right up there on my favorites list, if not at the top. I painted his Iron Brigade bust and marveled at the attention to detail. Looking forward to hearing and seeing more of David Ridley's work! Thanks for sharing your work...

Hello Costas,Tony,Martin,Rudi,Artur,Balazs, Hardy,Mark,Roy,Marc,Gary,Jay,Terry,Roger,Pascal and Engin. Many thanks for all the great compliments on David Ridleys bust of a WW2 Chindit.I am so glad you like him and will pass on to Dave your compliments. When I first saw some pictures of the Chindit Dave sent me months ago, on the early sculpting stages ,I new straight away this was going to be one of those got to have models.I could visualize back then what I thought he would like painted up.So glad you guys like the painting I have done.If anyone is interested I can tell you what paints and color mixes I used.
