The subject itself is a very interesting one with lots of very colourful characters and all very brave .

Do you know, Kevin and Jimbo, I never cease to be amazed by the level of research and preparation that you two go through to produce such superb busts that aren't being produced commercially. I really think you are filling a real gap in the market. The people you portray are true British unsung heroes, unfortunately forgotten by the populace but thankfully their memories are being kept alive by you two inspired gentlemen. Long may you carry on.

    Hi John

Nice to have your input , I will pass on your comments to El Jimbo incase he doesn't see it ( probably stocking up on biscuits for me ) .

I have lots of ideas ..but he does have a habit of hiding ! ..lol

Like you say there are so many forgotten heroes and I have so many ideas !

Kerp watching ..this will be painted soon ! ...

Just need to add the tiny ribbons .

Nice work Kevin. I like the bows on the medals and the medals themselves have been given that special Peart Polish.

    Cheers John

...the medals are NMM but used a touch of varnish on top ..the ribbon colour is a calculated idea ...blue seemed right being a man of the sea.

    Thanks for looking in
