Excellent but I would like to see a tighter bow string. Wonderful flag and colours.

You are right John, I user a thin copper wire for the string but i was not able to tight it more. I will try different material next time.
    Thanks to everybody people

A Gianpiero Russo archer accompanied by an Andrea man at arms with a replacement head.Genious.Wonderful composition and painting and of course a cracking choice of subject and all done gloriously in 54mm(my absolute favourite scale).Bravo and mille grazie Francesco.

A trick I read about and have used occasionally is to put the section of thin copper wire on a flat surface such as Glass tile and then put a 6' steel ruler lengthwise on the wire and try to roll the wire and it will become perfectly straight. Then cut the length you need. It is a little tricky to do but it does work. I also do this when I use copper wire to pin the arms/etc on figures. Easier on the short pins.
