It has been a long haul on this figure. I started it early January and have just finished it. The long haul was because of all the excellent details in sculpting and accessaries sculpted by Maurizio(y). All comments are welcome and encouraged.
The base with the kit was extended about 1/4 inch to cover the wooden base from Ken Thomas. since it had a corner missing I added a wooden beam to support the empty spot instead of leaving a hole.:D

There is more blue in the eyes than shows up in the photo and he is looking slightly up.
The axe handle is a slightly darker wood as suggested by my wife in order for it to stand apart from the barrel.

This was a thoroughly satisfying figure to put together and paint.
I hope you enjoy the results.
    Cheers

it all looks great but of particular interest to me is the flap on the top of the boots. I like your treatment there very much, it looks like you used a lot of colors to make it look as incredible as it does. Really fine work on this little guy.

    Hi John,

Four months very well spent my friend. I too was taken by the treatment on the boots and the woodwork; both outstanding. And your wife was right about the handle on the axe- good call Mrs Bowery.
