    I think that the lines on his forehead are just a bit heavy handed. See if you can make them a little thinner and not quite as dark.

    Nice work on what could be a plain model ..good uniform colour , I would just redefine the lining around the gas mask .....and like Joe says take back the lines on the face a little ...I like the cheeky look he has

    Thanks for comments, I'm quite happy with the effect overall of the face and to be fair the lines on the forehead don't look as stark when not zoomed in on the camera as this is quite a small bust.

    not entirely sure whats wrong with the lines on the gas mask? could you please elaborate

    ah so you would have the stitching lines darker, I'm was not a big fan of over defining seems and stitch lines just finding my feet with adding that depth don't want to over play them and have to repaint :)
