    Hi, all
We are hosting two figure painting classes in the Atlanta area with Fernando Ruiz!

As you know, among other things, he is the owner of FeR Miniatures and the painter of many of the company’s boxarts. Besides that, He works professionally for collectors, have painted for several miniatures’ boxarts for others companies as well as winning numerous awards on international competitions.

But the angle of his career that maybe is more relevant for the occasion is that he has hosted numerous seminars around the world, in places as far as Brazil, Korea and, of course around all of Europe.

These courses are intended to demonstrate a highly popular and celebrated way of painting, known as the “Spanish School”, through one of its best exponents, brought straight away for that purpose from Spain. We are offering the possibility of participating in a singular experience for American figure painters, which will help you improve your abilities to paint a 75 mm figure or a bust… or maybe both things!
The workshops will be hosted on Atlanta on two consecutive weekends: April 28th-29th and May 5th-6th, 2018. The place is a hobby shop, Hobby Town USA:
    https://www.hobbytown.com/kennesaw-ga/l111

Fernando will bring along the sample figures of the seminars, previously painted from Spain and will paint on another copy live, in order to demonstrate the techniques. Then, he will assist the pupils in turns with their own versions. Also, after the seminar, a full pdf tutorial with numerous pictures, that will be helpful to help explain any possible doubt, will be available for each piece.

Each workshop will consist of two intensive sessions over two days (a full weekend) and it will be done for a maximum of 15 persons per class, so the quality of the teaching doesn’t get compromised. The first seminar (April 28th-29th) will be centered in diverse painting areas of a 75mm figure. The second (May 5th-6th) will be about painting a bust, mainly centered in the face. Both seminars will show techniques done with acrylic paints.

The premises have room enough to host a small exhibition with works made by the teachers and the pupils, so you can have the chance to comment and get explaining of further techniques and doubts with in-hand examples.
