2016 APG Fundraising Event and MFCA


2016 will bring something new for APG. We have been invited to participate in next year's Military Figure Collector's Show in lieu of holding our separate show. As in years past , we will host tours and a painting workshop, and also will hold a figure auction. As guests of MFCA at their venue we will have access to a larger figure show with a more extensive vendor area, and will be able to sponsor some special awards.

The MFCA Show is scheduled for 20-21 May 2016 at the Valley Forge Casino. APG Events will be conducted 19-21 May at the same venue.

The painting seminar/workshop will be held by world renown flat artist Penny Meyer. The subject will be painting flats. Gary Dombrowski has created a special relief based on a Keith Rocco painting of a Continental Staff Officer c 1777. Seats are limited to 12 so if you are interested contact us at infomikeapg@aol.com.

The APG will also be conducting a tour of the Brandywine Battlefield and the Chadds Ford Museum where we plan to view some of Shep Paine shadow boxes. The tour will be held on Thursday May 19th. More to follow.

We'll be holding our auction on Sat May 20. As usual we will have some very high quality miniatures and art up for auction with all funds generated going to historical preservation.
