I have just finished painting this commission piece for Andy Cairns of AC Modelshttp://www.acmodels.co.nz/ It is a 75mm figure sculpted by Andy Cairns and cast in resin, due for release soon. The figure comes with the option of two different hats, the one on this box art figure and a slouch hat. I painted the figure in Vallejo and Andrea acrylic paints.

Nice. I like Andy's sculpts. They look like real soldiers, not department store manikins.

I liked the "Cobber(s)" vignette, but I think this is A.C.'s finest job yet.

John I neglected to say that your paint is a perfect compliment to Andy's model.

John you have done a superb job on Andy' s great sculpt. To me it portrays the ANZAC soldier to a T.

Not really my period of interest but now and then I see a figure that just grabs you and this is one of them.Full of character and what I'd expect a seasoned warrior to look like.I can't say enough about this figure other than a great sculpt and a fantastic paint job.I can see myself buying this fella.
