Wow Roger this is really good, looks like your inner German is finally coming out :D
How do you find the Rafhael brushes ? I love them and have been using them for years.

Thanks very much Steve. I always have had some inner German but it was restricted to pre-1918, however I'm now realising what I'm missing out on.
I'm loving the Raphael brushes too but am restricting their use to where they are really needed as opposed to using them to slap paint on willy nilly,

Thanks Ralph. I think I've got over being a bit disappointed in myself and will crack on with what should be a nice little dirty vignette. :D

    Figure No.2.
Ignore the face that is still very much work in progress but I'm much happier with the way the helmet cover has turned out compared with Fig. No.1.

I've been saying to myself for the past year or so that there is so many subjects and manufacturers that I really must try, so now I'm doing something about it. :D

    Hi Roger,
Stumbled across this post, appreciate how you're getting a great looking result but also noticing the great quality of detail in these 1/35th Alpine figures as well. Just wanting to check that this chap is definitely a German and not a Greek fellow dressed as a German?

The funny thing is when I was researching this I came across the website of some Greeks who reenact WWII Germans..... so you never know.

Don't know much about camo Rog.Never wished to.You know very well my aversion towards modern armies. So I am not the most expert man to pass an opinion on this.I can only say that be it right or wrong I totally like what I see ....a lot.
