A true anachronism

    I remember some time ago, another figure site had an anachronism contest. This being a figure wearing, holding, using a item that does not belong to the time period of the figure .Photo by Olivier Papgnies

    Not to mention the bloke on the extreme left with his mobile phone.
    I suppose the next photo should show him taking a 'selfie'.

    How about the tattoo on his hand, too? I don't think they were that common in early 19th-century Europe, unless you were a sailor, perhaps, who'd been to the South Seas.

    He's probably one of the official photographers. They were all dressed up in a semblance of military uniform to try and blend in!
