Hi everybody,

I present you my new project. Again a WW2 figure, but after some germans ( in Kursk and during the battle of the Bulge) and an Italian in the desert, I paint this time a british solider. It is at new an Alpine figure. They are so great

The challenge for me with this figure is to paint the kaki of the battledress. This is a colour that I've never painted before. The sand colour of the short is also a challenge for me. I have some troubles in painting this colour in the past.

Untill now I've painted the head and a part of the jacket.

Yes, I've tried to highlight a bit the insignia. Not easy at this scale but it add something imo.

Hi all,

I've finally completed the short of my Desert Rat
A lot of work ont it. Sand is not an easy colour I find, but well I think it looks pretty good.
Next step will be the legs and the hand, and then the figure will be nearly completed

That's terrific work Laurent. Incredible considering the tiny scale of this! I admire your eye for detail.

I would just suggest to matte him down with some varnish later, as the paint seems to have become quite glossy.
