Well, that looks strangely familiar....

Nice work on the bare flesh. That is a bit intimidating to me.

My piece had somne pitting on the tops of the lorica segments as well as the shield.
Did you have that? I was surprised to see that on a Pegaso.

looking sweet, Frank. the face looks superb once the guards are on.

Will you be shading the iron work or leaving it more polished?

    Hi
    Thanks for the comments

Keith... my casting had some pitting on the lorica shoulder
plates had to fill and prime

painted it with citadel chainmail then washed it over with tamiya smoke
dark shading being tamiya smoke mixed with gloss black

the brass work is done with a gold marker pen shaded by washing over with
    citadel flesh wash

The skin tones are acrylic applying all shades with very thin paint
slow build up took ages with lots of correcting feet and sandals still need work expect the bare arms to move a bit quicker

Rob will look at the armour for light and shade when the tunic is painted

will post more pics as I go

    Hi Stephen
    Thanks for the encouragement

At Milton Keynes met Matthew Grech
From El Greco Miniatures A really nice guy

Good to know The Ares mythologic line is available through him
as well as lots of other good stuff

It was a good show Mainly aircraft but El Greco miniatures
being there made it a worthwhile trip
