WIP 95th Rifles Bust

Mention of Sharpe reminds me that in one episode one soldier has a typically striped Spanish blanket rolled and attached on top of the knapsack. No I don't remember the episode.
That might be a way to enliven the bust a little.

That's a step in the right direction to get them back in fashion Kev. (y) Looking forward to seeing your version.

:D Roger! .. You are a 'Yorkshire-Man', and as such you have independently moving 'Bollocks', ..Shoot from the hip! ;)

That kind of thing is frowned upon on the range for some strange reason. :( Shooting from the hip that is not moving bollocks, that's okay.

That's looking great (y)! The lighting on this series of pics don't wash out the contrast you worked in. The scar, whiskers and powder stains give this guy a lot of character!

This is coming along very well, I particularly like the textures of the shako and blanket.

Great. Looks as tough as old boots, as these guys undoubtedly were.

had a real foul up with this one of the christmas period I managed to drop him, breaking off the head and the knapsack pieces, damaged the paint work on the face and split some on the main body, after careful deliberation I decided it was to difficult to repair so I have stripped him down and I am starting again

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh so sorry Mate.
You were doing a really first class job on this fellow.
I hope that you can get it all together for a second bite of this fine bust.
    Good luck,
