72 Higlander's Afganistan 1879 - Elite Miniatures 54mm

    Started a new one, a classic from Elite Miniatures, that unfortunetli closed...
    I started with black primer, over that, from top to bottom i aplyed withe primer, both from Scale 75...
    Then with airbrush, i aplyed the base color for the jacket, a kind of caqui, made of a mix of diferent colors.

    Pants basecoated with burnet cadmium red, from vallejo, mixed with flat base from Tamya:

    I made some lights in the red pants and started the tartan:blackeye:

    Starting the lights and shadows in the squares...

    Critics and advices will bee very welcomed and used in the figure:D

    ....as always, it's the tartan that makes of breaks such a figure, and this is looking good so far.

    I always say, the lines don't have to be prefect - they just have to look perfect. And those two things are not necessarily the same!

    On this one, it is more of a challenge than usual.
    The Regiment wore Prince Charles Edward Stewart plaid not Royal Stewart, and has smaller red squares.
