This started as an old IR figure. I added Nemrod head and hands, a Historex bayonet, a scratch Tomahawk, and a Michael Roberts Brown Bess. He is painted in acrylics.

Nice job Pete! I recognize the base I like the addition of moss...that really popped it.

Is this your best-ever stuff? I think so.
Never mind the figure - that groundwork is worth the entrance fee on it's own.
Please share with us how you did it as I have no shame in saying I want to copy it.

Bob, the moss does add something. I tried to make a scene that looks somewhat like the photographs of Randy Steele. He shoots reenactors of the FIW. They are nice pictures if you are not famaliar with them. Google Randy Steele.

I will soon be making another creative groundwork base, and I will SBS the process.

Can' wait for the base SBS, This is an excellent painted figure.
