Here are photos of the Airfix/Historex 54mm English Civil War Parliamentarian
Cavalryman from circa 1643. I started on the project in November and posted
WIP photos from time to time in the past.

And I will put a few of those WIP photos here below to remind you fellow
Planeteers. I completed attaching the horse to the base earlier today.
So it is on to the next thing. I'd like to say this was a lot of fun. But it wasn't.
    But I stuck with it.

You enjoyed it really Rick. The hard work shows through, and the groundwork has balanced out great now that it's all together.
Looking forwards to your next one,
    Carl.

Rick I know you had your ongoing frustrations with this one but I am glad you saw it through to the end mate and finished up with a very dynamic and eye catching figure, a lot of fiddly modelling involved in this one but you coped with it well.

A really nice job mate on figure, horse and groundwork, all ties in very nicely together in the final result.

    All the best mate

    Hello Whitney. . .

    Hello Whitney in Florida:

I lived approx 700 miles in South Florida, for about 15 plus years. It was called the Plywood State back then because of Hurricane Andrew. Thanks for taking
time to comment. I do appreciate it.

    Kind regards,

Hey amigo, Hacienda Carl. . .

Yeh, enjoyed it like getting hit in the head with a ball bat. . . for it felt so
good when they stopped. Grooooooooooan. Sorry! I want to thank you and
Steve Readdie, Chippy and Mil-mart for all the encouragement over the past
months, Carl. It really did help to get your advice and wise counseling over
    that 6 month period.

    Take care, my friend,

    Hello Pete

    Hey there Diamond Cutter:

Wow, that line of work sounds more difficult than this kind of figure modeling.
Appreciate your kind words, and thank you for having a look see,

    Hey Readdie amigo

    OMG, Steve:

Wow, old age really is creepin' up on this old heimer. . . don't want to forget
my best friend. Thanks so much to you my Leicester mate for your kind
words. You and the guys really did help me thru this process with your
    wise words.

A note about the photos Steve. I could not get my regular close up Nikon
lens to work with my Nikon D50 this time, Steve. I don't know what was
wrong. I haven't used it in a while, and there may have been a bell or
whistle that I forgot to deal with. So the photos are rather grim. . .

    Thanks again, my friend,

    Hey Mike:

thanks for taking time to post your comments. I just now saw you incredible
"Lambs to the slaughter" and it is just super. You have quite a creative
imagination. Very artistic and way over the top. Anyone can see from the
painting of the cape, you're quite an artist.

    Congrats from the Jayhawk

    Hello Bill Gebhart

    Hello Bill in Syracuse:

Thanks for taking a look see at my equestrian project started last year.
I do appreciate your comments. BTW, I was in Syracuse some time back,
and saw all the historical information about the Erie Canal. Until then I
didn't realize what a huge impact that business venture had on the business
and industrialization of the Northeast, especially with cities like Buffalo,
New York. I read some fasinating books on the Canal. It supposedly put
Buffalo, NY on the map. Indeed, the past explains the present.

    Regards,

    Jayhawker
