    Wow, Roger what a great miniature. What make etc?
    I often think there is a quality of animation captured in these small equestrian flats that is so lacking in many fully sculpted figures. They're quite magical.
    Great start to the painting too - I'm coming to be a real fan of your richly painted horses!
    Cheers Mat

    Hi Roger,

    Cracking job on that horse, how do you turn them out so quickly I was only looking at the Landsknect last night!...........must be a sign of a mis-spent youth!

    Thank you Mat. it is a Neckel figure in the Army of the Blue King set engraved by Ludwig Frank.

    Cheers keith, it's easy to make good progress when I can sit down all day and paint without any interuptions.

    Roger.

    Thank you both :)

    Actually it could be a Loy figure, not Neckel as previously stated as it has a L on the base, definately engraved by Ludwig Frank though.

    Thanks for the info Roger. Where do you get your flats from? Is there a supplier in the UK?
    Bye the way, there really is no better way to spend your time than doing what you enjoy!

    Your welcome Mat. This particular flat was a gift from a friend, hence the sketchy info.
    I purchase all my flats online from Germany. Vendors that I have used and would recommend for quality and service are;
