    I'm starting to appreciate flats, is it a different discipline to other figure painting or do you treat the same, also do you use oils or acrylics.

    Thanks Ken, I paint with acrylics. It's just the same as other figure painting except the shadow & highlights are a lot bolder to create depth. Once you've decided where you want the direction of the light source to come from off you go:)
