    Polish Resistance fighters WW11
This is something I've been putting together on & off for a couple of months now, it's all completed now so no longer a WIP ( should have posted it earlier when I was building it)
As you've probably guessed these are all Youngs miniatures busts slightly converted the female head is a converted Pegaso's native American.

The Polish Resistance were mostly left by the Allies to stand & fight alone on their own all through WW11, suffering torture & execution or the concentration camps if caught by the Nazi's, they fought with great bravery mostly with stolen German equipment & uniforms, often with friendly fire upon each other due to the confusion caused by the use of German smocks & helmets etc, the only thing they could do to be distinguished from the enemy were the use red & white armbands & red & white markings on stolen German helmets, during the Warsaw uprising the Resistance tried with great courage to take the city from the Nazi's after being encouraged to rise up by the Allies, sadly only to be abandoned with lack of support, ammunition & supplies and then being forced to fight from the sewers of the city, eventually they were all killed or captured with only a handful escaping.

Painting was done mostly in oils & enamel, hope you like them and of course all comments are very welcome.

    Cheers(y)
    Jim

    Neat composition & conversions Jimbo.

Especially like young woman & groundwork, each compliments the project in a special way.

Nice work Jim, the conversion, painting and composition are great. The rubble base is a nice touch, as is the 'Polska Walcząca' flag.

I'm fascinated by Polish history and it's great to see some figures dedicated to this often forgotten (outside of Poland) tragic and brutal episode in their history.

    Again, quality work mate (y)

    Mr Evans,
This is one amazing piece......with 3 heads of course.
I just love everything about this this group, it follows all of the triangulation rules (top and bottom) and that groundwork really sets the whole thing off a treat. Real Class
Top marks Jim, well done mate.
