This is Gordon Mitchell's 200 mm Para. Loads of detail and a real dynamic pose.

Been a real marathon with this guy but he's 99 percent done.
There's a wee bit of touching up to do but most of it's there.
His rifle hand is blue-tacked on as he is getting shipped to the person ho commissioned the piece.
The commissioner also wanted a German steel helmet with SS markings to depict the division who were at Arnhem.

He has a steel rod running the length of the leg into the base.

    See what you think,

Hey grant you've done me well.. it's going to have pride of place . As the guys have commented the details is second to none .from the bespoke rubble ,bricks /metal /timber.. the the ss helmet was a good choice . To the fine detail of the face couldn't of asked for a better job Arnhem and dieppe are my special interest ..although defeats their courage was secound to none..Mark A ..Liverpool

Nicely done Grant, will you have it at Edinburgh?
Couldn't even contemplate tackling something that size.

Hi Del, yes mate. Mark has kindly allowed me to hold on to him until after the Edinburgh show.

The 200mm figures take time but this figure does have a lot of equipment on him.
    I'll see you at Edinburgh.
