My attempt at this brilliant Carl Reid figure, apologies for rubbish photos. My skills aren't up to decent tartan, so have gone for a "suggestion" of Gordon tartan.

    Hi Rob ,

Nice work on a lovely figure ...."a suggestion of tartan" ...nice one looks good and it works well .

Are you keeping it on the base or putting it onto a larger one ?

Mind you like what you have done with the base and the way the boots ahve been painted ..all works well together ..the groundwork and the dirt on the boots

Good variation on the kharki ...adding more interest

    Thanks for sharing

Great work, Rob. The tartan is very impressive and some lovely flesh tones too.

Thanks for the encouragement, chaps, It will be based to do the figure justice. It is a joy to paint and glad Carl but a kilt cover on the figure! :) Next figure job, "I'll be home soon, son"
