    Lovely work Marc, I particularly like how you have shaded the red on the sabretache and crossbelt, it looks very convincing.

    Nice painting , the blue is really well done ...really does look like the image of a hussar ...a favourite with the ladies

    Perhap the sabretasche straps are a little long but that's nough only .

    I cannot understand the red brich soil base but I have to say he gives a great contrast to this work.(y)

    Pedro: The red brich is not so bright red as you see in the picture. It's more a grey red.
