    Hi everyone
He is the Alpine Miniatures 101 Airborne kit that was released a short time ago. Very nice kit, with a choice of heads. I decided to use the plain netted helmet. Painted with acrylics ( I did use oils for the stock on the M1 Carbine)

WOW! That is so lifelike. The uniform and weapon are very good but the eyes and the skin tones raise it right up. (y)

Congratulations, you did a great paint job on this beautiful figure ! I like it very much !(y):wideyed:

The colours are good and true - quite an achievement, the OD shade of those M42 jump suits is not easy.... but you got it right.

I will save your pictures and use them as reference to paint my own figure (have him too, one of Alpine's best)

    Very nicely done Matt (y)

You've inspired me to dig out the BAR gunner (Alpine 16012) from my stash tonight, which has an almost identical pose. I have a feeling he'll make it to the bench in the very near future :)

I was wondering when someone would do this new trooper. A superb piece of work (y)! The colors look spot on, and I like the added little detail of the wear on the e-tool handle. Well done!

Nice Job! Can you give us your formula for the jump suit color?

    Very lifelike finish.
It's not often you see a figure that looks as if it's about to walk off its base.

    Cheers,
    Andrew
