Marshal Ney done (except for base which has yet to be procured). I wish I hadn't washed his lace, epaulettes and medals with metallic inks. They looked better NMM. Live and learn. Also his sash is not as glossy to the eye as the photography implies. It looks more like silk in real life.

For someone who does not make his living as a sculptor and artist, that piece says you could. An outstanding piece of individual work and the only one in the world. Mate you must be very pleased with your efforts, I know we all are.

Fantastic finish, my friend. Having seen this in person I can say it looks even better in the flesh than in pics. The gold emrooidery looks more than fine to me... Just a hint of the bullion thread without being overdone at all.
